Dr Katie Finch
Dr Katie Finch has worked across a range of settings including adult mental health, learning disabilities and homelessness services and she continues to hold a role within the NHS.
Katie has core training in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Systemic Family Therapy with additional training in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectal Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT).
Katie often works with adults who may be struggling with the impact of trauma or who want to find ways to manage difficult emotions that can feel overwhelming or intense. She has worked with a range of issues including: anxiety and phobias; OCD, depression; relationship problems and difficulties that may be given a diagnosis of ‘personality disorder’. Katie brings a warm and down-to-earth approach to ensure therapy is compassionate, collaborative and meets the goals and needs of her clients.
